Symantec is shortly to launch its Ready Issuance process, a much more effective authentication method, for the purchase of SSL certificates.
Using the Ready Issuance scheme, companies will only need to complete the verification process once in every 39 months which not only saves time but also greatly simplifies the issuance procedure.
Clients will have to complete the authentication process just once, they then specify the domain name (or several names), and finally supply information about their organisation and their contacts. This information will be used for the immediate release of Symantec OV-certificates in accordance with the Symantec authentication procedure
