From 1 September 2020, Apple will no longer trust certificates for more than one year

Apple has announced that only certificates with a validity period of 398 days or less (1 year + additional renewal period) will be trusted by Safari. This policy shall enter into force on 1 September 2020.

All certificates issued before this date will be trusted until their expiry date. For example, a two-year certificate, released on 31 August 2020, will be trusted by Apple.

This announcement was made by Apple on 19 February at a planned meeting of the CA / B Forum.

Apple's solution is currently one-sided, but is expected to be supported by other major browser vendors in the near future.

You can use our control panel (order.leadertelecom.com) for convenient management of several certificates and their rapid renewal. We also always send out notifications by email when certificate renewal is required.
