subject:organizationalUnitName will be removed from SSL certificates

The CA/B Forum, the SSL certificates regulator, has decided to drop the subject:organizationalUnitName field because previous attempts to tighten its validation have been unsuccessful.

Ballot SC47v2 was adopted by majority vote.

Previously, this field was optional. Now, the use of this field is prohibited in two cases:

• If the subject:organizationName field is missing; or
• If the certificate was issued on or after September 1, 2022
